Sculpt and match a digital head, Dark Hollow, Raven Banner Entertainment

  • Sculpt a digital head replacement
  • Track and match move digital head replacement to on set satyr statue
  • Track the natural environment to ensure CGI elements move seemlessly with the background plate photography

AHEAD OF THE GAME

At studio level our designers sculpted the CGI head. All texturing and lighting references were carefully matched to seamlessly blend the CGI into the original plate photography.

Post production, we used the concept art of the creature, sent across from the design team in New Zealand, as a basis for the digital head replacement.

Careful attention was given to ensure the foliage from the live action footage was retained. The CGI was then animated and tracked to the final shot.
