Immersive Exhibitions
ACER Pavillion :
London 2012 Olympics
Client: ACER
Brief
Deliver innovative and engaging content for ACER at the London 2012 Olympics, creating a pavilion experience that showcased technology, interactivity, and ACER’s commitment to sustainability and future innovation.
The Experience
Working in collaboration with PICO, we helped develop and visualise the pavilion concept, contributing to the design that secured the project.
The final experience combined multiple immersive elements:
Interactive Visitor Experience
Visitors created personalised digital avatars, allowing them to access games and interactive activations throughout the pavilion - an early example of connected, user-driven experiences at scale.
Immersive Digital Environment
We produced 2D and 3D content for a dynamic LED façade with moving hydraulic panels, creating synchronised wave animations and branded storytelling that drew visitors into the space.
Holographic Theatre Experience
At the centre of the pavilion, a holographic theatre combined live actors, digital doubles, and projected visuals to create an immersive narrative experience exploring ACER’s sustainability and innovation story.
